EMG Listed in the Legal 500Posted: 22nd September 2016

As some of you may have read (because we have been singing it from the roof tops!), EMG have again been listed in the country’s most prestigious legal rankings – the Legal 500.

We have been ranked again for our work in personal tax, trusts and probate matters and we have been ranked for the first time for our family law work as well as being recognised as “the premier independent Court of Protection practice in the North East”

This is a true accolade as the Legal 500 is a completely independent assessment process. Emma Gaudern was individually praised for her “personable approach, her experience and for the confidence she commands from all quarters.” whilst Jemma Morland was recognised for her niche expertise in the financial aspects of the 2014 Care Act. Natalie Lalas was also singled out for her “civil partnership expertise.”

The great news regarding the Legal 500 was hot on the heels of learning we are finalists in the Law Society Excellence awards for “excellence in client service” . This is such a great achievement as this is a national award which is also completely independent. Some of you might remember our private client team were also shortlisted earlier in the year for the Northern Law Awards. All in all, 2016 has been a fantastic year for us so far, and we can now truly announce we are an award winning firm! We hope our credentials mean that all of our clients, old and new, will feel confident that they really are in a safe pair of hands.

Thanks to our incredible team for making all of this possible and let’s hope we’re just as successful next year!
