Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update


EMG Solicitors are actively monitoring and responding to the evolving COVID-19 situation and are following all guidance and advice issued by the UK Government, NHS and Public Health England.

We place a huge value on family – our family at work, home and our wider communities, and the wellbeing of our team and our clients is priority.

With this in mind, we are now able to offer further flexibility in accessing our services, and we remain open for business with our legal teams on hand to support you.

As technologically advanced, completely paperless lawyers we are well equipped for the situation we now find ourselves in and we have the resources, systems and infrastructure to continue to support you with any legal issue. During this time, the majority of our team continue to work remotely with full access to our systems and will continue to provide you with a seamless service. We have also been able to reconfigure both our Durham & Gosforth branches to now accommodate safe, face to face meetings for clients who need to see us in person.

We appreciate that things may be different for some time yet and that’s why we’re doing everything we can to support you.

We are supporting the NHS Test & Trace service and will ask anyone attending our office for an appointment to complete a slip with their contact details or scan the QR code on our receptions using the NHS COVID-19 App upon arrival. Please note in accordance with current Government guidelines, if you are a client attending our office for an appointment you will be required to wear a face covering. For your safety, we also have protective screens in place.

  • Fully secure access to all necessary documentation as well as document sharing facilities

            – Online/video ID checking and verification available

  • Easy payment options so you can budget more easily

            – Payments can be made online or by contacting a member of our accounts team
